About this Workshop
Would you like to learn a new skill, brush up on an old one or have a chance to experience a potential career change? From 9th January I will be offering the chance to learn, complete and take home 4 designs which will give you the basics to try further flowery delights as and when you wish. The short 4 week evening course will include all materials, tools, tuition and refreshments so just bring yourselves.
We will be covering the following designs:
*Handtied bouquet: You will learn the basics of spiralling which is a technique that can be used when arranging a simple bunch of flowers at home right through to designing a simple bridal or bridesmaid bouquet.
*Contemporary Wreath : An opportunity to discover the ways of creating a contemporary floral ring which the basics can be then be used to complete a Sympathy tribute, an Easter display or a Christmas Candle Arrangement at home.
*Half Hair Crown and Buttonhole: We will learn how to design a beautiful hair display and buttonhole which can be recreated with limited materials at home. These are both more intricate designs and involve wiring and taping, they can be made for use at a Wedding, Event or music festival
*Modern Winter Arrangement: Design a beautiful winter arrangement in a reusable container using gorgeous greenery, woodland accessories and seasonal blooms. The skills you have learnt can then be used to recreate a seasonal design at home from garden cuttings whenever the mood takes you.
This course will be held in my studio in Thorpe St Andrew and will only proceed if fully booked. It will begin on the 9th January and will continue for 4 Thursday weekly evenings
Look forward to seeing you then
